Welcome to my blog! My name is Katie and I’m here to talk more about my favorite poets and poems in hope for you to find yours, too! I also am going to help you explore more of the current world of poetry! Poetry is something that has been important to me for a long time as I feel it’s one of the most amazing ways for people to feel connected. Words can be so powerful – they have helped me through a lot of hard times in my life and I feel they’re capable of doing that for anyone else, too. I have been told by many people that poetry seems intimidating to them or that they don’t know where to start – that’s why I created this blog. I have included a variety of poets that write in all genres and different platforms for you to find them on so you can find poetry that you can connect to. With many poems and poets to choose from I hope to create a community that is less intimidating and more of a fun way for everyone to find poetry they love.
